Remote Himalayan Adventure Around the World’s 8th Highest Peak with NepalWhispers

Trip Overview
The Manaslu Circuit Trek with NepalWhispers is one of Nepal’s most spectacular and off-the-beaten-path Himalayan experiences. This 18-day adventure takes you through remote valleys, high mountain passes, and ancient Tibetan-influenced villages, all while circling Mount Manaslu (8,163m) — the 8th highest mountain in the world.
Starting from Soti Khola and ending at Besisahar, the trail ascends through lush subtropical forests, terraced fields, roaring rivers, and eventually into the high alpine region near the Larke La Pass (5,160m). Compared to the busier Annapurna Circuit, the Manaslu region offers a more peaceful, authentic, and culturally immersive trekking experience.
Previously restricted to outsiders until the 1990s, the Manaslu region is still a controlled area requiring special permits. This means fewer crowds and a more pristine environment. The trek takes you through Tibetan Buddhist villages, past ancient monasteries, and offers close-up views of snow-capped giants like Himalchuli, Ganesh Himal, Shringi Himal, and of course, Manaslu itself.
This 18-day itinerary by NepalWhispers includes proper acclimatization days and is ideal for trekkers seeking both challenge and serenity. For those with less time or prior acclimatization, we also offer a faster 14-day version. And for deeper exploration, consider our Manaslu with Tsum Valley trek (21+ days).
